I’m passionate about helping people live healthier lives. But what does it mean to be healthy? Perhaps you think about diet, exercise, managing stress and anxiety, improving relationships, learning to enjoy life a little more, being more motivated, finding purpose or something else entirely. We can say that health is a broad topic, which can be daunting yet provide many opportunities.
I work with those who:
Describe themselves as well and want to continue their journey to thrive and longevity.
Those going through peri-menopause or who have reached menopause and working with the changes this natural life progression brings for fifty per cent of our population!
Those who would like to change their weight, whether looking for weight loss, or weight gain.
Those who might describe themselves as having a health condition like type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure (hypertension), or another chronic condition that impacts your daily life
Those feeling more stressed or anxious than they would like, or struggling with motivation or mood.
In all cases, together, we work to bring change for the better with approaches specific to you, in your life, and with your circumstances.
I care about this topic enough that I studied for a master’s in psychology, trained as a mindfulness teacher, an ACT practitioner, a nutrition coach, and a master health and wellbeing coach – that’s part of how I want to live my life and how I support my wellbeing – learning helpful approaches to positively impact the lives of those I work with, extending our healthy lifespan with years in our life and life in our years. As a part of that commitment, I also offer 20 hours per week to a group of NHS doctors’ surgeries, practising as a health coach.
